Presbyterian Disaster Assistance in Haiti
Congregations are asking how to participate in disaster assistance following the devastating earthquake in Haiti on Tuesday....

For the time being, the best assistance is to send money... to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance or any other established disaster assistance agency, religious, governmental or secular that you know and trust. Updates on the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance response is available at
http://www.pcusa.org/pda/response/latinamerica/haiti-earthquake011310.htm

Funds from One Great Hour of Sharing are already helping with the initial response. You can give to the ongoing relief by sending a check to the Presbytery noted for PDA account number DR000064. We will be sending checks to PDA weekly. Or you can give by phone at (800) 872-3283 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. (EST). Checks can be also be mailed to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, P.O. Box 643700, Pittsburgh, PA 15264-3700.
